Jazz, Free Jazz
Double LP in a gatefold cover, limited to 500 copies. This is a reissue of a true modern/free jazz holy grail of the late 1960s. The sound quality of the original album wasn't really bad, but it certainly wasn't very good either. These restored recordings however sound excellent! So now, after some 45 years, at last we are able to listen properly to this unbelievable music played by the cream of German/European jazz musicians. Just check the line-up and you will understand what we're talking about. The music includes free jazz thanks to the likes of Peter Brozmann and Evan Parker, and high quality Modern Jazz done by the Joki Freund Quintet. These live recordings were made on July 6th, 1969, in Heidelberg, Germany.
