„Minne" was the fourth and second to last LP by Joy Unlimited from Mannheim; it was recorded in 1974 and released in 1975. It is, as its forerunners "Schmetterlinge" and "Reflections", a ballet work with progressive music, this time sung in Middle High German - the lyrics together with their translation have been enclosed. With every single track the talent of the musicians who were playing there becomes obvious. In the instrumental "Bacchanal" the vibrant organ, played by Roland Heck and driven on by the drums, is particularly inspirational. The CD was drawn from the master tapes. The nine bonus tracks consist of the following tracks: first of all six as yet unreleased studio recordings from 1971 and 1972, then "Achtigall" which Joy Unlimited had recorded for a fairy-tale LP, and finally the two tracks from a 7" single, with a fuzzed saxophone sounding almost like an electric guitar.
