One of the great progressive folk releases, here we have Michel McLean, a veteran of the folk-rock scene with groups such as Les Karrik, teaming with clasically trained pianist Pierre Moreau. Rounding out the band are members on violin and cello, and several guests. The result is a release that alternates between folk and chamber music, mixing the best elements of each for a fresh and satisfying result. Hard to compare this to anything, but the Dutch band Flairck might do.
