Long held in high regard by '60s music fans and collectors Liverpool's Kirkbys actually had only three records released in their lifetime, two singles in Finland only and the classic 'It's A Crime' in their native UK. In 1967 the 7" 'Michael Angelo' and 'Keep Me Warm' were recorded at Regent Sound in 1966 and the only known surviving copy was rescued from a recycling depot in Wales. 'I'll Be Round' has appeared before in only average quality, the recent surfacing of an acetate has allowed this brilliant performance to finally be heard in its intended glory. 'It's A Crime' is a different version to the single and 'I'm Gonna Be A Big Star' was intended as a possible second UK single but was shelved. All five tracks have been restored to the best possible standards, and the CD comes with an 8-page illustrated booklet. The record is a limited edition of 500 copies.

Limited edition of 500 copies, housed in a front-laminated flipback sleeve with an illustrated 8-page booklet.

Five tracks recorded during 1966 / 1967, all restored from original acetates. "I'm Gonna Be A Big Star", "Keep Me Warm ('Til the Sun Shines)", "Michael Angelo" (a different version to those previously released) and "It's A Crime" (a different version to the 1966 RCA Victor single) make their debut on this EP, and "I'll Be Round" is in far superior sound quality to that previously released on the 23rd Turnoff compilations.
