From the darkling psychedelic folk of Anaconda, through the bathetic psychedelic anguish of Arcadium, Miguel Sergides finally arrived from London at the Antipodes in a mid-seventies disco frenzy and recorded his ultimate masterpiece as The Savanna Silver Band. Long a cult item for jazz funk collectors, this is the first reissue of a classic masterpiece, where Sergides aptitude for long complex progressive compositions morphs seamlessly into a gorgeous funk disco setting, the result slots perfectly alongside the jazz funk .
